D - Dieser Entwurf bezieht sich auf den Städtebau in der Stadt Marseille. Die Parzelle befindet sich am ‚Boulevard National‘ und bildet den Abschluss eines Baublockes. Da in dieser Umgebung keine öffentlichen Plätze vorhanden sind, ist von mir bewusst auf eine weiterführende Blockrandbebauung verzichtet worden. Stattdessen wurden die Brandwände zum Hauptthema und daraus bildete sich die gesamte Struktur des Gebäudekomplexes. Durch das direkte Anbauen an die Parzellengrenze entstanden Lichthöfe zur Belichtung der Wohnungen.
Die Struktur der Lichthöfe ist in den privaten Innenhof weitergezogen worden. Die Typologie der Grundrisse ähnelt sich somit im Gebäudekomplex mit Ausnahme der Eckausbildungen und gehen mit kleinen Änderungen auf die jeweilige Situation ein. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich öffentliche Einrichtugen wie Restaurant, Blumenladen, Kinderkrippe etc. Die geschwungenen Treppenhäuser sind aus Glasbausteinen ausgebildet, können von beiden Seiten betreten werden und bilden jeweils den Kern eines Lichthofes.
Die Fassadengestaltung beinhaltet eine Dreiteiligkeit aus einem 2-geschossigen Sockel, einem Regel– und einem Dachgeschoss. Gegen die Strasse ist die Fassade ruhig und passt sich ihrem gegenüber an, im Innenhof und den Brandwänden dagegen ist eine starke Struktur wegen den Lichthöfen vorhanden. Damit der Gebäudekomplex nicht als Monolit in Erscheinung tritt, ist mit Risaliten und Halbgeschossen gearbeitet worden. Dadurch entsteht eine Feingliedrigkeit in der Fassade und kann dennoch als eine Einheit wahrgenommen werden.
E - This draft refers to the urban development in the city of Marseille. The parcel is located at Boulevard National and marks the end of a block assembly. There is no public space available in this environment, so I decided consciously not for a secondary perimeter block. Instead, the fire walls were the main theme and it has formed the entire structure of the building complex. Due to the direct mounting on the parcels border, halos caused to expose the flats.
The structure of halos has been moved into the private courtyard. The typology of the floor plans is therefore similar in the building complex except in the corners and go with minor changes on to the situation. Downstairs there are public spaces like restaurant, florist, nursery, etc. The curved staircases are made of glass bricks, can be accessed from both sides and each form the core of a halo.
The façade includes a three-part of a 2-storey base, a control and a roof floor. Against the street, the façade is quiet way and adapts its opposite, however in the courtyard and the fire wall are a strong structure because of the halos. That the complex does not occur as a monolith in appearance, it has been worked with projections and half floors. This results a fineness in the façade and can still be perceived as a unit.
